A Call to Action for a Safer, Stronger Community
Our community is facing unprecedented challenges, with a significant rise in crime making our streets less safe. Shootings and hate crimes have seen an alarming increase, while the 110, 112, and 115th Police Precincts are operating with fewer officers than just a year ago. Additionally, the concentration of shelters in our district and proposed developments like a 25,000-seat soccer stadium at Willets Point and a 35-story luxury tower on Northern Boulevard and 113th Street threaten the very fabric of our community.
Amidst these critical issues, the lack of community forums, town halls, and discussions has left our district without a platform to voice concerns and opinions. It is time to break the silence.
This status quo is unacceptable. Special interests and political maneuvering have taken precedence over the needs of our community for far too long. I am here to put an end to that injustice. I am committed to ensuring that our community not only has the opportunity to voice concerns but also witnesses tangible results.
I pledge to listen attentively, work tirelessly, and protect our community. Together, let's build a safer, stronger, and more united community where every voice is heard and every concern is addressed. It's time for real change, and I am dedicated to leading that change for the betterment of our community.
